TeslAI is a multilingual visitor guide built for Turistička zajednica grada Karlovca to help people discover the area through Nikola Tesla, local recommendations, and QR-based entry points.
TeslAI was built as a visitor-facing experience for Turistička zajednica grada Karlovca. The idea was to make local discovery feel more like a conversation than a brochure: visitors scan a QR code, open the app in the right context, and ask Tesla about the place around them.
The first concept was voice-to-voice, but we deliberately removed Tesla voice output. Visitors can still use the microphone as input, but the app always answers in text because cloning Tesla's voice was not the right choice for the project.

What mattered

- Respectful character design Tesla is present visually and conversationally, but the app does not clone or synthesize his voice.
- Useful local context The assistant can recommend restaurants, accommodation, activities, and points of interest from the tourism-board material.
- Simple public use The app is designed for people arriving from a QR code, not for users who want to configure a chatbot.
