TeslAI is a multilingual visitor guide built for Turistička zajednica grada Karlovca to help people discover the area through Nikola Tesla, local recommendations, and QR-based entry points.
Every corner of the world, no matter how small, holds great potential. Ask me how I turned my dreams into reality, or anything else you wish to know.
Where should I eat after visiting Smiljan?
I would recommend Restaurant MOST at Budačka b. b. in Gospić, just a few kilometers from Smiljan. You can reach them at +385 (0)53 575 512.

TeslAI was built as a visitor-facing experience for Turistička zajednica grada Karlovca. The idea was to make local discovery feel more like a conversation than a brochure: visitors scan a QR code, open the app in the right context, and ask Tesla about the place around them.
The first concept was voice-to-voice, but we deliberately removed Tesla voice output. Visitors can still use the microphone as input, but the app always answers in text because cloning Tesla's voice was not the right choice for the project.
Visitor flow
experience
01
Scan a location QR code
Different QR codes open the same app with different starting context and locally relevant suggestions.
02
Ask Tesla
The visitor can ask about Tesla, nearby places, restaurants, activities, accommodation, or practical travel details.
03
Read the answer
The response appears as text, with suggested follow-ups that keep the conversation tied to the scanned location.
What mattered
product notes
Place-specific discovery The QR entry point changes the opening message and suggested questions for the visitor's current area.
Respectful character design Tesla is present visually and conversationally, but the app does not clone or synthesize his voice.
Useful local context The assistant can recommend restaurants, accommodation, activities, and points of interest from the tourism-board material.
Simple public use The app is designed for people arriving from a QR code, not for users who want to configure a chatbot.
